It may be cold outside, but the Panora Public Library’s calendar is heating up with events this winter.
To finish off January, the library will be hosting their monthly movie this Thursday at 2 p.m. with a showing of “Victoria & Abdul.” Snacks will be provided and attendees are asked to bring a drink. Library Director Kim Finnegan says February will have several events for the young and old, including a story time program, “We actually have one coming up Wednesday, February 6th and we usually have a theme that will probably be ‘Valentine’s Day.’ And then we’ll have one coming up in March, they’re on Wednesday nights at 5:30 (p.m.) and the ages are preschool through 5th grade invited and the parents come also and we always have lots of stories and snacks provided for them.”
That same evening the library will host their Genealogy Club which meets the first Wednesday of every month at 6:30 p.m. There is no fee or registration required to join the club, and participants can learn how to use the library’s ancestry tracing system.
