A fair amount of morning snowfall has created some adverse driving conditions throughout the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area today.
According to the Iowa Department of Transportation, Highways 25 and 44 in Guthrie County are currently completely covered with snow and there’s considerable ice on bridges. Additionally, each of the state highways in Greene County are partially covered with snow. Meanwhile, all state highways in Dallas County are considered in seasonal condition, except for Highway 44 east of Adel which is partially covered. Snow plows are active in each county.
Make sure to listen to Raccoon Valley Radio for updates on road conditions as well as cancellation and delay information whenever there’s severe winter weather.
