The recent snow storm forced the postponement of the City of Adel’s public workshop on their new comprehensive plan, and the new date for the meeting is Wednesday, February 26th.

The public is invited to provide feedback on what the City is calling “Envision Adel 2040.” The comprehensive plan will help guide the growth and development of the community for the next 20+ years. The workshop will include a short presentation, as well as a “Planning 101” overview and preliminary analysis results. Following that, there will be a series of engagement exercises to gain feedback from the attendees. There is no cost to attend the event, and registration is not required. It will be held on February 26th from 6-8 p.m. in the Adel Public Library Community Room.
