Everyone is invited to the next Bell Tower Festival meeting in Jefferson.

It will be held at the Welcome Center at 7pm tomorrow. A variety of topics will be covered at the meeting including: reunions, tourism and hospitality, publicity, food, beverages, vendors, plus organizations and businesses are encouraged to attend to talk about their activities that they will be doing during the June 7th and 8th event. Greene County Chamber and Tourism Interim Director Michael Reese says they are looking for several other roles for people to fill.

“We’re still somewhat in the brainstorming stage. We’re also looking for a handful of (committee) chairs as well. So I think there’s two committees that still need chairs. If you’re interested in playing a role in that, or if you’re interested in volunteering, or sponsoring, please give Sheilah (McGregor-Pound) a call at the Chamber (office).”

Interested individuals are also invited to tomorrow night’s meeting where there will be updates given by this year’s Festival Chair Pete Russell. The 2019 theme is “Retro With a Twist.”
