perry chamber

One of the newest businesses in downtown Perry is also the next location for a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Perry Chamber of Commerce.

Swan Antics is an antique store that moved from a Morton building near Ogden, and is now located at the corner of Lucinda and 2nd streets in downtown Perry. Owner Alma Swanson says her relationship with the Chamber has been strong since she opened up business, and she’s excited about being officially welcomed into the fold. “I’m just looking forward to meeting the Chamber and having the ribbon-cutting. Having my friends come in, like the first day I had my regulars from the farm that came in, so I hope they show up! And also meeting new friends and new customers coming in.”

The ribbon cutting will be held on Friday, January 25th at noon, and Swanson adds that she’ll be providing free lunch to all attendees.
