At the recent Perry City Council meeting, the Perry School District gave a presentation on the proposed industrial technology and wrestling/multipurpose room facility project.
There will be several more presentations ahead of the February 5th bond referendum vote, including a pair at Perry High School. The District is hosting public meetings on Wednesday January 16th and 23rd, both of which will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center. Superintendent Clark Wicks will lead the presentations. He says they’ve planned many public meetings, as they know that education on a bond referendum is the key for getting people out to vote. “For this project, we’ll have various advertisements around. We’ll have open meetings in January, and I think I’ll be speaking to different groups. We have about 25-30 of them already set up. So take a look at that, and if anybody feels that they have a group that would be interested in looking at that, (I’d) be glad to visit with them.”
