Tickets can still be purchased for the Yale Community Club’s annual scholarship supper fundraiser.

Proceeds from the supper go towards $500 scholarships for graduating Yale residents. The club is also partnering for the third year with Timber Creek Charities for a live and silent auction fundraiser. Those proceeds will go towards the non-profit which helps cover patients’ expenses at Timber Creek Therapies in Guthrie Center. Yale Community Club Board Member Scott Fredrickson shares how this event originally began, “Well we’ve been doing it for years and we initially started it to raise funds to pay for the community club building and we accomplished that goal about four years ago and so we didn’t really know why we needed to have this event anymore except for people kept telling us they really liked to come, it’s something to do here in the middle of winter.”

The event begins with a social hour at 5 p.m. and dinner at 6 p.m. Saturday at the Yale Community Building. Dinner will be catered by Lidderdale Country Store, and lemonade and tea will be provided, but attendees can bring their own beverage. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at Timber Creek Therapies and Farmers State Bank in Yale.
