The first stop on the road to Wells Fargo Arena takes the Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers varsity wrestling team to Huxley this weekend.

The Iowa High School Athletic Association in November placed ADM in the Class 2A Section 1 tournament with grapplers from Ballard, North Polk, Saydel, Van Meter-Earlham, and Woodward-Granger. The top two placing wrestlers in each weight class advance to the Class 2A District 1 tournament in Adel on Saturday, February 9. The wrestlers finishing outside the top two will have their season come to an end. ADM senior Andrew Flora is among the top-ranked wrestlers competing in Huxley this weekend, bringing 32-0 record in contested matches this winter.
