Behind every strong school is a supportive Booster Club. Perry high school is one such example. The Perry Booster club is an active group of volunteers who work feverishly throughout the school year and summer to make sure all extracurricular activities are given a chance to succeed. Martha Stetzel is a volunteer with this year’s booster club and she says people would be amazed at all the booster club does behind the scenes.
“This is a group that works solely for the kids to make sure they are in a position to have what they need to compete. We talk to the teachers and the coaches before each season and semester and ask them for their wish list. Some of the funds that we provide go to the athletic trainers that are present at every varsity game. We also have a uniforms fund set up as well. We don’t want to be a secret society, and we know a lot of people would love to help out if they only realized all that we did.”
