Guthrie County 4-H’s silent auction that begins today isn’t the only auction you can get involved with at the county fair this weekend.

The 4-H Foundation also invites everyone to participate in its pie auction on Sunday, during the lunch break of the 4-H Cattle Show in the Show Arena.

Homemade fruit pies donated from the 4-H clubs and individual 4-H members will be auctioned off to help raise more money for scholarships and club projects.  All of the money stays right here in Guthrie County.

Last year’s event raised $914, and the Foundation says it wants help eclipsing the $1,000 threshold on Sunday.
