A deputy was asked to check the welfare of a herd of cattle in the 800 block of 190th Street. The cattle were found to have water and hay.

Thursday, August 28th

A deputy was asked by the administration of the Paton-Churdan Schools to speak with a 2nd grader at the school in Churdan. The young man was given direction by the deputy as to how we should leave the personal property of others alone. The deputy pointed out that there will be consequences if this action continues. The young man promised that it will not happen again.

A deputy was dispatched to an E-911 call in the 2300 block of 290th Street to unlock a vehicle in which an infant had accidentally been locked inside. The deputy’s response was immediate and the baby was not locked in the vehicle for any length of time. The deputy reported that the baby was doing fine.

A deputy was asked to help with the welfare of an elderly couple that reside in Grand Junction.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
