We are now a little more than three weeks away from the special referendum vote of the casino in Greene County.

Grow Greene County will provide one last open town hall meeting at the Rippey Public Library tonight at 6pm.

Chamber Executive Director Ken Paxton says the point of all the town hall meetings is to provide the public with information and facts so that every voter in the county is as well informed as possible.

He comments that the town hall meetings are open to anyone including supporters, people who are against it and the undecided voters.

There will be a panel on hand to address anyone’s questions, comments or concerns about the casino.  Paxton states that past panelists have included representatives of Wild Rose Entertainment, Emmetsburg officials and Grow Greene County representatives.
