The Greene County Fair continues Friday with a full slate of activities.

In the morning, there will be the 4-H sheep show starting at 7:30am followed by the goat show and judging the beef pen of three.  All those activities will be at the show-ring area on the county fairgrounds in Jefferson.

The 4-H Clover Hall opens at 10am with several events taking place throughout the day.  The open class and commercial exhibits will be open to the public from 1-8pm.  Then from 2-3pm is an extravaganza event involving any kids from three to ten years old.  At 5:30pm will be the 4-H fashion show followed by the county fair queen coronation ceremony at 6:30pm.

Also at 5:30pm will be the beef barbecue served by the Greene County Cattlemen’s Association.

The day ends with two grandstand events with Kelsey K and River Rock to perform and the then there will be fireworks at dusk.

And don’t forget, Raccoon Valley Radio’s Big Red Radio will be doing live updates from the fair from 10:45am-6pm on Friday.
