The Jefferson City Council will meet tonight in regular session.
The Council will hold a public hearing for the development agreement with Hy-Vee, Incorporated and then consider a resolution approving the agreement.
The Council will then consider approving paying its fourth installment to Sandstone Management for work on the Greene County Development Corporation Park #1 south of Syngenta. The City Administrator employment agreement amendment is expected to be approved as well.
The Council will also consider a three year labor contract between the City of Jefferson and the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees/Iowa Council 61, Local 3949.
Finally, there will be a discussion for a procedure of closing the railroad crossing at Pinet Street.
The meeting begins at 5:30pm in the city hall council chambers and the public is welcomed to attend.
