The final winter concert of the current school year in Perry will be held Monday evening.

The Perry Middle School Band will host their annual winter concert on January 7th starting at 7 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center. The concert wraps up the winter music schedule in the Perry School District, which began with the high school vocal and band concert on December 3rd. Other Perry music events in January include: the Meistersinger Honor Choir at Wartburg College on the 20th and 21st; the Middle School Orpheus Honor Band at Simpson College on the 22nd; the Southeast Polk Jazz Festival on the 26th; and the Middle School Solo/Ensemble Contest hosted by Perry on the 29th. There are also several Pep Band performances scheduled for the upcoming home varsity basketball games.

There is no cost to attend Monday night’s band concert, and there is a small fee to attend the other events.
