Most of the counties in the Raccoon River Valley area continue to see a decrease in unemployment in Iowa.
According to Iowa Workforce Development, Dallas County dropped to 1.2-percent unemployment in November, which was a 0.1-percent decrease from October. Greene County also had a 0.1-percent dip from October to November to 1.4-percent. Guthrie County remained the same at 1.6-percent.
All three counties continue to outpace the state’s overall unemployment rate from November of 2.4-percent. The national percentage of those without a job in November was 3.7-percent.
