Spend this Saturday evening with family or friends in the full moonlight at Springbrook State Park.
Iowa Department of Natural Resources Training Specialist Anne Riordan shares why people of all ages should attend this event, “I realize it’s a busy time for people but it’s going to be a full moon and if maybe your family’s back and you’re looking for something exciting to do, come out to Springbrook we’ll hike in the full moonlight.”
The event was initially intended for cross country skiing but since there is no substantial snow participants will hike. Attendees will also get to enjoy a campfire and are invited to bring snacks. This event will take place from 6-9 p.m., and the group will meet at the park office. The full moon hike is free and open to the public.
