This is the last week of Greene County High School basketball for 2018, and it’s a busy one for the Rams. The boys play three times and the girls have two games. It all starts tonight on KG98 and streamed on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com with the Rams on the road in Woodward for a non-conference girl/boy doubleheader with the Woodward-Granger Hawks. Coverage begins at 5:45 p.m. with the girls playing at 6 p.m. and the boys to follow.

The Greene County girls are 0-7, while the W-G girls are 1-6. On the boys’ side, both have winning records with the Rams taking a 4-3 mark into the game tonight and the Hawks standing at 6-1.

Tomorrow night, it’s a home girl/boy doubleheader, but it’s on the road. For the second year in a row, the Greene County teams have a home game at Wells-Fargo Arena in Des Moines. They’ll meet Nevada at “The Well” Tuesday night in Heart of Iowa Activities Conference play for JV/varsity girls and boys games. We’ll broadcast the varsity games around 6:15 p.m. for girls and the boys to follow on KG98 and streamed on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com.

Coach Chris Nelson’s boys’ team hosts Boone on Friday night in JV/varsity action to close out the December portion of the schedule prior to the school break.
