The Empowering Adair County Foundation (EACF) recently awarded grants for 15 projects totaling over $100,000.
The recipients for the 2018 grant cycle include: Adair Fire and Rescue, the City of Stuart, the Adair Public Library, and the Warren Cultural Center. Grant applications were scored on criteria including benefit to Adair County residents, support of entrepreneurial activity, community and leadership development, and identifying and addressing community needs. The EACF was formed in 2005 to provide philanthropic support for community betterment and to enhance the quality of life for Adair County communities.
