The dual season continued Tuesday in Lake City for the West Central Valley Wildcats wrestling team. The Wildcats competed in a quadrangular event versus grapplers from Audubon, East Sac County, and South Central Calhoun. West Central Valley finished the night victorious in one of their three matches. Six forfeits, a pinfall, and a major decision assisted the Wildcats in a 46-21 victory over Audubon. West Central Valley dropped seven contested grapples, including six pinfalls, in a 58-24 loss to East Sac County. The Wildcats suffered eight contested losses against South Central Calhoun, including seven falls, for a 57-18 setback. Senior Carson Wadle (182) was the only West Central Valley wrestler who finished the night perfect, registering two first period pinfall victories and one win by forfeit. The West Central Valley Wildcats varsity wrestling team resumes their season this weekend in Ogden, competing in the annual West Central Activites Conference tournament.
