We’re now in the second week of December, which means it’s time once again for the monthly Perry Chamber of Commerce Coffee.
This month’s event will be held at Backwards Boutique, located along 2nd Street in downtown Perry, which is owned and operated by Emily Leslie. It will begin at 8 a.m., and refreshments will be provided. Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti says it will be a great opportunity to learn about the clothing store, while also socializing with other local professionals. “For those that haven’t been in (Backwards Boutique) yet, they can see what’s in her (Leslie’s) shop. But then also just hear from those that attend (about) what’s going on, and kind of the typical networking that goes on at Chamber Coffees.”
Pasutti adds, the public may not realize they’re always invited to the Chamber Coffees, and she feels they are great ways to learn about what’s going on in the City. “They are open to the public, but we do mostly only have members that come. So people can come at those times, and meet members and connect that way. But it’s just really nice to have that business-to-business connection, where we can all get together and see what’s going on.”
