Greene County split a girl/boy basketball doubleheader with North Polk (Alleman) in Jefferson Friday night and Paton-Churdan did the same vs. Glidden-Ralston. In both cases, the boys won and the girls lost.

P-C won 47-31 in boys’ hoops at Glidden, while G-R took the girls’ game 56-38.

Greene County’s girls fell behind 27-0 enroute to a 76-13 loss to NP, the number one ranked team in Class 3A. The Rams had a 39-19 scoring advantage in the second half to win 66-50 in the boys’ game.
