Winter break is fast approaching for area students, and Guthrie County 4-H members are being given the chance to expand their interests with some workshops.

Guthrie County 4-H is hosting a Zentangle Workshop on December 27th at 1 p.m. at Art Exchange in Panora. An RC Car Workshop will also be held on December 27th at 6 p.m. at Jet Outdoors in Carroll. Attendees will get to race their car on an indoor track and learn about different modifications that can be made to your car. There will also be a Photography Workshop held on December 28th at Ketelsen Photography in Panora. This workshop is recommended for beginners, as participants are advised to bring a photo that they’d like to take to the fair and Mike Ketelsen will judge their photo and help with their writeup. There will also be time to take photos.

There is a $10 fee for the Zentangle Workshop and the RC Car and Photography workshops are free to attend. Email Mollie Clark at clarkm@iastate.edu to attend a workshop.
