At 9:30 a.m., they will have a public hearing regarding the first reading to re-codify the County’s code of ordinances. The Board will also set the time and date for a public hearing to award the bid and contract for the courthouse renovation project.
The Board will also consider a resolution for an amended canvass of the recent general election, as well as an amended 28E agreement with the City of Dallas Center for sewer services as discussed at previous meetings. Other items on the agenda include: a Secondary Roads Department pavement design award for County Road F-25; an update on the North Raccoon River Watershed Management Coalition; more discussion on the service coordinator position for area 1A of the Healthcare Coalition; and a Human Resources Department workshop to discuss a restructure request by the Treasurer’s Department.
There will also be a possible closed session to discuss purchase of particular real estate. The meeting will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday in the Board of Supervisors meeting room in downtown Adel. Additionally, the Board will reconvene at 4 p.m. to receive and open bids for the courthouse renovation project. Both sessions are open to the public.
