Kids and adults can get in the holiday spirit at a free event happening in Guthrie Center today.
The Mary J. Barnett Memorial Library is hosting an open house from 9:30 a.m.-noon. This event coincides with their 18th Annual Festival of Trees, with the theme “Glowing in the Winter Darkness.” Families can come vote for their favorite tree and monetary prizes will be awarded to the top three most-voted trees at the end of the month. There will also be crafts for adults and kids and light refreshments served. Santa and Mrs. Claus will also be visiting from 9:30-11:30 a.m.
