The Greene County Medical Center Auxiliary Annual Report was recently presented to the Medical Center Board of Trustees.

The Auxiliary raised $13,775 through six fundraising events over the course of the last fiscal year. With those funds, they were able to give away $3,500 through scholarships to graduating high school seniors who entered or are studying in the healthcare field. Auxiliary also donated $20,000 to the 3D Mammography campaign and provided funding for padded seats and leg extensions for the medical center’s wheelchairs.

Over the 2018 fiscal year, the Auxiliary volunteers recorded 8,140 volunteer hours. At the minimum wage of $7.25 per hour, the value is a total of $59,015 that the Auxiliary volunteers gave of their time. Additionally, 14 new members went through orientation.
