The Caring Christmas Food Drive is in full force this week with several stops to collect food and monetary donations for those in need in the Raccoon Valley Radio-listening area.

The Big Red Radio will be broadcasting live from 3-5 p.m. today at Hometown Foods in Guthrie Center. Next, the Big Red Radio will be at the Perry Hy-Vee from 4-6 p.m. on Wednesday, sponsored by the Perry Lutheran Home, then at the Adel Fareway from 4-6 p.m. on Thursday, sponsored by Fuller’s Petroleum. Wrapping up the week, our final stop will be at the Perry Hy-Vee from 4-6 p.m. on Friday, sponsored by Eye Care Associates.

Residents are welcome to drop off food or monetary donations at the Big Red Radio during any of the stops, which will then be donated to that community’s food bank. You can also enter our $1,000 Christmas Cash Giveaway drawing. The grand prize winner will be announced on December 20th.
