As many of you know, the reigning Miss Rodeo Iowa is Adel native Jenna Kool, and she’s about to head to the national pageant in Las Vegas.

Before heading to the Miss Rodeo America Pageant, the community is invited to her official send-off party Sunday afternoon. The celebration will be held at New Hope Church, located east of Adel on Highway 6, and will run from 2-4 p.m. There is no cost to attend, though donations will be accepted and there will be a silent auction at the event. All proceeds will help offset Kool’s final expenses from her year-long tour around the country. Attendees will get a sneak-peak at her wardrobe for the pageant, and free refreshments will be provided.

The Miss Rodeo America Pageant will be held from December 2-9 and includes contestants from 28 states.
