A reminder: three students from Adel-DeSoto-Minburn High School and one from Perry will be competing today at the State Cross Country Meet in Fort Dodge.

ADM sophomore Hannah Welch and Perry freshman Jaylene Karolus qualified for the girls Class 3A race, which will begin at noon today. At 12:30, ADM sophomores Nate Mueller and Ethan Juergens will compete in the boys 3A competition. Each of the runners finished in the top 15 individually at the qualifying meet last week in Glenwood. Mueller and Juergens will both be competing in the State Meet for the second straight year, while Welch and Karolus are both running at Fort Dodge for the first time.

The State Cross Country Meet is at the Lakeside Municipal Golf Course in Fort Dodge, and the public is encouraged to attend.
