Everyone is invited to Paton this Saturday for a “Harvest Party” event.

The Paton Public Library is hosting a variety of activities which features a meal from 3 to 5pm at the Shriver Community Building. The menu includes chili, two kinds of homemade soups, cinnamon rolls, cookies and other desserts, along with coffee, cider and water. There will also be pumpkin decorating, wagon rides with ponies and a scavenger hunt.

Attendees are also encouraged to dress up with their favorite Halloween-themed costume for a costume contest. Library Director Amber Love says there will be two age divisions for the costume contest with a three to eight-year-old division and a nine-year-old and above division. Prizes will be awarded to the winners.

All activities, including the meal, are free and open to the public.
