Wednesday, October 24th

8:07am: An officer checked on a Residential Alarm at 707 West Harrison Street. The officer found the residence to be secure.

11:08am: An officer investigated a Two Vehicle Property Damage Accident at 101 Ram Drive. A 2005 Ford Taurus, owned by Andrew Michaelson and being operated by Aidan Johnson both of Jefferson, was attempting to pull into a parking spot at the High School. Johnson struck a parked vehicle while doing so. The 2016 Jeep Cherokee was owned by Amber Ricci of Jefferson. The Michaelson vehicle had a reported $750.00 in damages, while the Ricci vehicle suffered $1000.00 in damages. The accident occurred on private property and a citation was not issued.

12:41pm: An officer responded to a Two Vehicle Property Damage Accident at 104 North Locust Street. A 2015 GMC Denali, owned and operated by Kelly Wilson of MO, sideswiped a parked vehicle while parking in the Dollar General Lot. The 1996 Buick Roadmaster that was struck was owned by Robert Owens of Jefferson. Both vehicles suffered a reported $1000.00 in damages. Wilson was cited for, “fail to Provide Proof of Security Liability.”

6:16pm: Karyn Parker reported an Abandoned Bicycle in the 600 Block of South Maple Street. The officer placed the bike in Impound.

7:45pm: Jack Hunter reported a vehicle driving on the Jefferson Golf Course. The officer located the vehicle and learned it was grounds staff removing a stuck lawnmower from the course.

9:20pm: An officer secured an Open Door he located at 600 East Lincoln Way Street.

10:25pm: A Traffic Stop in the 200 Block of South Wilson Avenue resulted in Joslyn Monthei of Jefferson being cited for, “Violation of Conditions of Minors School License.”
