Minor injuries and heavy vehicle damage were the result of a single vehicle crash Wednesday evening in Greene County.

Greene County Sheriff Jack Williams says a deputy, the Scranton Fire Department and Greene County Emergency Medical Services responded to the incident at 7:38pm at E Avenue near 300th Street. Twenty-three-year-old Kenton Reece of Perry was traveling south on E Avenue, when for an unknown reason, he lost control of a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado truck as it went into the ditch.

Williams says the crash report shows that Reece was uninjured, but his passenger suffered minor injuries and was taken to Greene County Medical Center by Greene County EMS. The truck sustained $10,000 in damages. The investigation is ongoing as this time.
