12:57am: A deputy assisted an ambulance in the 200 block of Anyer Street, Dana.

6:55am: A deputy investigated a car deer accident on 220th Street and B Avenue. Christopher Janning 23 of Carroll struck a deer with a 2006 Pomtiac G6 causing around 3,000 dollars damage.

8:43am: A deputy investigated a car deer accident on N Avenue near 257th Street. David Dideriksen 58 of Scranton struck a deer with a 2016 Dodge Promaster causing around 5,000 dollars damage.

8:51am: A deputy investigated an abandoned vehicle on 220th Street and N Avenue.

9:30am: Thomas Young Jr. was booked into the jail for domestic abuse assault.

1:30pm: Heidi Chapman 29 of Perry was booked into the jail for failure to appear.

3:06pm: A deputy conducted a welfare check on N Avenue near 257th Street.

3:33pm: A deputy investigated a two-car accident on N Avenue and 257th Street. Jon Vanderpluym 62 of Waukee was traveling north on N Avenue and crossed the center line in a 2018 Dodge Promaster. Jon side swiped Ernest Newquist 52 of Lincoln, Nebraska in a 2018 Ford Van. Jon was cited for failure to maintain control. The estimated damage to Jon’s vehicle is around 2,500 dollars damage and the estimated damage to Ernest’s vehicle was around 1,500 dollars damage. There were no injuries.

6:20pm: A deputy investigated a suspicious vehicle in the 100 block of 9th Street, Grand

Junction.

7:38pm: A deputy investigated a single vehicle accident on E Avenue near 300th Street. Kenton Reece 23 of Perry was driving a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado and lost control of the vehicle. The estimated damage to the truck is around 10,000 dollars. Scranton Fire and Greene County EMS responded and transported a passenger of the vehicle with minor injuries.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
