The Iowa State Patrol is investigation a multiple injury crash that happened on Sunday in Guthrie County.
According to initial reports, law enforcement and rescue crews responded to the incident just before 4:30pm on 310th Street, east of Zephyr Trail by Diamondhead Lake. The report shows the vehicle one crested over a hill on a gravel road and hit vehicle two from the rear. There were multiple injuries involved, but all were non-life threatening. All occupants were taken to Methodist West and Mercy Main in Downtown Des Moines for their injuries.
Names of the individuals, the extent of their injuries, as well as a the cause of the crash are unknown at this time. The Iowa State Patrol is in charge of the investigation.
