The City of Perry is getting ready to celebrate a big milestone, and they will be holding a planning meeting Monday evening.
2019 will mark Perry’s Sesquicentennial, and the City and Chamber of Commerce plan to pull out all the stops for the celebration. Before that can happen, though, they want to get input from the public and identify residents who are willing to volunteer to plan the event. Monday’s meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. in the Towncraft Building’s upstair conference room, and is the first of several planning sessions to be held prior to the Sesquicentennial Celebration next year.
