A fundraising event is being held for the Republican candidate running for Iowa House District 47.

Candidate Phil Thompson of Jefferson is having a fundraiser held at the Abundant Life Ministries Church in Jefferson on Monday. The keynote speaker of the evening is the Republican incumbent candidate for US Congressional 4th District Steve King, along with special guest Republican incumbent candidate for Iowa Secretary of Agriculture Mike Naig. The evening will also include a pork dinner with sides. Doors open at 5:30pm with the dinner and program to start at 6. Tickets are $25 per person and can be purchased by clicking the link below.
