The City of Perry will be closing a portion of Willis Avenue for several hours Wednesday.

The westbound lane of the street between 1st and 2nd streets in front of Hotel Pattee will be closed between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. The City says the purpose is to accommodate heavy equipment being used in front of the Hotel during that time frame. The eastbound lane, including the driveway to the Perry Public Library will remain open throughout the day as normal.
