The 2018 general election is now about a month away, and candidates are starting to ramp up their campaign stops. One candidate for federal office will be paying a visit to Adel Monday for a fundraiser and meet and greet.
The Dallas County Republican Party is hosting a house party to support U.S. Representative David Young as he runs for reelection in Iowa’s Third Congressional District. Young will be the featured guest at the home of Paul Zietlow in Adel from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Other notable attendees include U.S. Senator Joni Ernst, State Auditor Mary Mosiman, and Iowa House candidates Anna Bergman and Ray Sorensen. The public is invited to attend and contribute to Young’s campaign. There is a suggested donation of $50 per person, and host committee opportunities available at $1,000, $500, and $250.
Young is being opposed in the general election by Democratic nominee Cindy Axne and Libertarian candidate Bryan Holder. For more information on the event, reach out to Zietlow at przietlow@msn.com or 515-238-1736. His home is located at 25173 Pin Oak Drive in Adel.
