John Andorf of Perry was traveling east in the 26000 block of Highway 141 when his vehicle struck a deer. No injuries reported. Damage to the vehicle estimated at $1500.00.

October 1, 2018
Sheldon Gene Boswell, age 21 of 1618 Willis Ave., Perry was arrested on a warrant for probation violation-original charge of possession of marijuana.

Charles Owens of Winterset was stopped at the intersection of Highway 169 and 330th St., attempting to make a left turn onto 330th, waiting for traffic to pass when he was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by Caden Roling of Des Moines. No injuries reported. Damage to Roling’s vehicle estimated at $1000.00 and $500.00 to Owen’s. Roling was cited for failure to stop in assured clear distance.
