There was movement atop the Iowa Association of Track Coaches Class 2A Girls rankings released Tuesday afternoon. However, the Panorama Panthers squad stayed third in the organizations latest team poll. Last week’s No. 1 team, the defending champion Mid Prairie Golden Hawks, fell three spots to fourth place. Crestwood, last week’s second-rated squad, moved up to the top spot. The Williamsburg Raiders, the fourth-ranked team in last week’s poll, leapfrogged Panorama and Mid Praire for second place. The Panthers continue as the lone representative from the West Central Activities Conference in the Class 2A poll. The Earlham Cardinals and the AC/GC Chargers represent the conference in the Class 1A poll as the 11th and 15th ranked squads respectively. Individually, sophomore Ella Waddle continues representing Panorama in the Class 2A ratings. She stayed as the organization’s sixth-ranked runner. The Panorama Panther boys and girls cross country teams resume their season tomorrow in the West Central Valley Cross Country Invitational at the 5 x 80 golf course in Menlo.
