In their ongoing mission to provide assistance to local businesses, the Perry Chamber of Commerce will be once again hosting office hours for the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) this coming Thursday.
Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti describes what people can gain from the service each month. “So on the fourth Thursday they’re taking four different appointments, so it’s not necessarily open hours, come and go. This is a time for them coming to Perry so you can set an appointment and they’re here for that one-on-one consulting, which is free for businesses. So whether someone’s looking to start a business and they want to talk over their business plan or their financials. It’s a confidential, free service that’s funded by the state already. So we might as well take advantage of that.”
Pasutti says the response to the SBDC services has been very positive so far, so she advises people to make their appointments quickly before they fill up. She adds, if you can’t get in to see them in Perry, you can visit them in their Des Moines office. Appointments can be made either through the Perry Chamber office at 515-465-4601, or on the SBDC website, which is linked below.
