Four games into the season and the Panorama Panthers varsity football team (3-1 overall; 0-0 Class 1A District 8) has equaled their win total from the 2017 season. At the heart of Panorama’s 3-1 start has been their offensive execution. The Panthers enter the week ranked fourth in Class 1A with 1,696 yards of total offense. Panorama’s 1,026 rushing yards is the seventh most in Class 1A football while the Panthers’ 670 passing yards ranks 12th. Junior quarterback Luke South rates sixth overall entering this week with 979 yards of total offense, scoring 12 total touchdowns. The Panorama Panthers varsity football team opens their Class 1A District 8 schedule this Friday hosting the Clarinda Cardinals. The varsity game kicks off around 7 p.m. from Panorama Stadium in Panora.
