Homecoming at Panorama Community Schools quickly became a shootout on the gridiron. The Panthers varsity football hosted the Central Decatur Cardinals in the final nondistrict game of the 2018 season. The two teams accounted for 89 points and 765 yards of total offense between them as Panorama outlasted Central Decatur, 49-40. Junior Luke South provided 118 yards and three touchdowns rushing. Seniors Spencer Hunt and Trey Cobb each added one rushing touchdown each in the homecoming victory. The win improves Panorama’s overall record to 3-1. The Panthers resume their season next Friday at home against the Clarinda Cardinals for the start of the district season.
