William Moats of Granger was traveling north in the 18000 block of Y Ave., when he came around the roadway curve and was unable to stop from colliding with a vehicle driven by Ashley Peterson of Ames that had stopped in the roadway because of the flooded roadway. No injuries reported. Damage to Moats vehicle estimated at $2000.00 and $1000.00 to Peterson’s. Peterson was cited for driving while license suspended and no insurance.

Robert Eckhart of 910 Dallas St., Dexter reported that someone took an off road light off his pickup that was parked at this address.

Joshua James Jost, age 22 of 35 Aidan St., Waukee was cited and released in the 24000 block of Highway 6 for driving while license suspended.

Chad Michael Daugherty, age 37 of 202 S 9th St., Adel was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear-original charge of assault.

Donna Marie Ott, age 37 of 208 E 2nd St., Orient was cited and released in the 36000 block of N Ave., De Soto for driving while license suspended.

Mathew Guzman, age 19 of 1716 W 3rd St., Perry was arrested at 3rd St. and North St., Perry for driving under suspension.

Betty Jane Crane of Des Moines reported someone tried breaking into property they own at 31684 Old Portland Rd. and damaged a window.

Alejandra Noemi Barrios Munoz, age 23 of 1908 5th St., Perry was arrested in the 19000 block of Highway 141 Diagonal for OWI.
