**The Raccoon Valley Radio Network has learned that tonight’s Winterset Cross Country Meet scheduled for today at the Lakeview Country Club has been postponed. A makeup date is possible at a later date.**

As classes resume today after the Labor Day Holiday weekend, a pair of Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers fall sports teams continue their early season competition schedule today. This afternoon, the ADM cross country teams continue their race season in Madison County at the annual Winterset Cross Country Invitational. The meet features runners from 17 area schools including Raccoon River Conference schools Ballard, Perry, and Winterset. The first race of the Winterset Cross Country Invitational starts at 4:30 p.m. from the Lakeview Country Club. This evening, the Tiger varsity volleyball team (5-5 overall) opens their Raccoon River Conference schedule at home against the Perry Jayettes. The Tigers and Jayettes played a tournament match last Thursday apart of the ADM Volleyball Invite. ADM bested Perry in straight sets (21-6, 21-13). Junior Delaney Bertman smashed five kills against the Jayettes last week while senior Briann Powers recorded eight digs. The varsity match serves at 7 p.m. tonight at ADM’s High School gymnasium.
