Four Greene County High School students swim for Boone under an athletic sharing agreement, and the Toreadors were quite a ways from home on Saturday when they went to Muscatine, on Iowa’s eastern border. Boone placed third in the eight team invitational with 260 points. Linn-Mar (Marion) won the team title with 408 and the host Muskies were second with 274. Tipton placed fourth with 204, followed by Burlington 129, Keokuk 51, Williamsburg 44, and Fairfield 19.

Coach Chris Mann reported being pleased with the overall early season efforts of his swimmers. Sophia Ausberger, Megan Doran, Ellie Madson, and Julia Saul are the Greene County students swimming for Boone.
