The Greene County Coalition Against Domestic Violence is hosting a special educational event to shed some light on the criminal justice process.
The Greene County Crime and Safety Educational Event will be held on Thursday, September 6th from 6:30 to 8pm at the Jefferson City Hall Council Chambers. A panel made up of local law enforcement, the Assistant Greene County Attorney, the Greene County Magistrate, a District Court Judge, a State of Iowa Probation Officer and members of ACCESS Assault Care Center will discuss their roles in how the criminal justice system operates. The vision of Greene County’s future will also be shared at the event.
Free refreshments will be served and it is open to the public.
