The Perry swim team certainly made a splash Thursday night at the McCreary Center as the Jayettes defeated Algona 81-76 in the season opener. Head Coach Jean Dowd was extremely pleased with her team’s performance.
“I was very proud of our entire team tonight. To have 4 personal best times so early in the season was impressive.
We were out numbered 23-7 and still pulled off this win. I want to thank those who came out to watch us tonight.”
Perry won every individual event and relay they entered. The Jayettes were not represented in the butterfly.
