There might not be a louder venue in all of Perry. That’s how some describe the McCreary Center pool deck area during a Perry Jayette home swim meet. Fans will have a chance to watch the Jayettes in action tonight as they open up the season at home against Algona. Perry head coach Jean Dowd says the girls always swim with a little extra energy when in the friendly waters of the McCreary Center.
“Its such a fun atmosphere,” stated the twenty year veteran. “We start the evening with the relay to get the crowd fired up and the energy and noise just continues from there. The 50 meters or splash and dash as the girls call it is another fun event for the crowd. Our girls can be a little noisy and very excited for the meet and we just feed off the energy of the crowd.?
The Jayettes will host Algona with a 6:30 start at the Rec. Complete results can be found at raccoonvalleyradio.com.
