A memorial service for David Vickers, 69, of Grand Junction, Iowa, will be held at 11:00am Saturday, August 18, 2018 at Gospel Open Bible Church, Jefferson, Iowa.  The family will greet friends from 9:30am to 10:45am Saturday at the church.  Interment will be in the Junction Township Cemetery.  Memorials to the family may be left at Slininger-Schroeder Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife, Jean Vickers of Grand Junction, IA; daughters: Danelle Mason of Des Moines, IA; Theresa Villagomez of Lincoln, NE; Tina Sparks of Jefferson, IA; Tara Vickers of Des Moines, IA; son, Jacob Vickers of Bondurant, IA; six grandchildren; and brother, Ron Vickers of Grand Junction, IA; other relatives and friends.
